오는 5월 19부터 3일간 천년고도(千年古都) 경북 경주에서 합기도 ‘종가(宗家)’ 정통 사범연수가 이뤄진다.
Hosted by the Korea Hapkido Federation (KHF)국내 정통 합기도 종가 대합합기도협회(총재 오세림) 주최로 개최되는 이번 시범연수에 외국인 합기도 사범 40여명을 비롯해 국내외 합기도 사범 70여 명이 참석할 예정이다.
Notably, Doju (Grandmaster) Ji Han-jae will attend for the second year in a row. He will train alongside the participants and deliver lectures regarding his martial arts philosophy and the history of Hapkido’s global expansion.
This 25th iteration of the training course aims to produce and cultivate instructors who will directly disseminate the authentic techniques of the Hapkido “Jong-ga.” It is considered a mandatory course for promising traditional Hapkido masters.
Since the first session in 1991 through the 24th session last year, 3,450 individuals have completed the master’s program. If including those from the federation’s earlier era as a social organization, the total reaches approximately 6,300 participants.
